Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 October 2026
By using ttc.cool you accept these terms. The site is operated by Scriptos.eu. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the site.
1. The service
Tap the Cap is a free browser-based reaction time test. It is provided for entertainment and general interest. No registration is required and no fee is charged.
2. Not a medical or diagnostic tool
Results produced here are not a medical measurement and must not be used to diagnose, assess or rule out any condition, nor to judge anyone's fitness to drive, operate machinery or perform any task. Scores depend heavily on your display, input device, browser and current state of attention. If you are concerned about your reaction time or coordination, consult a qualified medical professional.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit fabricated or automated results to the world ranking, or otherwise interfere with the scoring endpoints;
- use scripts, bots or modified clients to generate scores;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its server;
- scrape the site systematically or republish its content as your own.
Submissions that fall outside the accepted range are rejected automatically, and entries identified as illegitimate may be removed from the ranking without notice.
4. The leaderboard
The world ranking is provided as-is. Entries are anonymous numbers, we cannot verify the conditions under which any score was achieved, and we reserve the right to reset, correct or remove entries at any time — for example after a technical fault or an abuse incident. No entry confers any right, prize or entitlement.
5. Availability
The site is offered without any guarantee of availability. It may be unavailable during maintenance or because of faults, and features may change or be withdrawn at any time.
6. Intellectual property
The design, source code, graphics and written content of this site are the property of Scriptos.eu and are protected by copyright. You may link to the site freely and use it personally, including in a classroom or research setting. You may not copy, redistribute or republish its code or content without prior written permission. For licensing enquiries, write to contact@ttc.cool.
7. Third-party content
The site displays advertising and uses analytics supplied by third parties, and links to external sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to it. See our privacy policy for detail.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
